"Adding chai with spices, herbs and flowers is a way of
adding nutrients back in your life with every sip"
- Prerna Kumar

OUR

The love and warmth of culture, infused with the aroma of herbs... all in your cup of tea.

The journey of ChaiVeda began in the summers of 2017. But the roots go back to the 1970s, to the warmth of home, to the gatherings of friends and family, and to the shared love for chai.

Our founder, Prerna Kumar, has cherished tea for as long as she remembers. She used her homemade Ayurvedic masala to prepare tea, and everyone, who sipped it, marvelled at the taste. And after a trip to the tea gardens of Darjeeling, she decided to unleash the secret to the world. ChaiVeda was born.

ChaiVeda brings you the benefits of Ayurveda. And with each sip, you bond closer to the age-old tradition of drinking chai. Chai is the solution to all problems.

OUR

  • Careful Curation –
ChaiVeda strives to control health problems with chai. And our tea leaves come from heritage tea plantations of India. We check them manually and mix them with herbs to create healthy blends of tea. You take in the goodness of Ayurveda with every sip.
  • Natural Products –
All the herbs, spices and flowers in our tea blends are fresh. Products of ChaiVeda are entirely natural. We don’t add artificial colours, flavours or seasonings.
  • Environment Sustainability –
Since day one of ChaiVeda, we have been creating a culture of zero waste creation. Our teabags are made of biodegradable corn starch, which can be composted with the kitchen waste. And for packaging, we use disposable pouches, reusable tin caddies and reusable hand-crafted wooden gift boxes.
  • Creating a Healthy Tomorrow –
The products of ChaiVeda are beneficial in various health problems. And our products are nature-friendly too. Our loose-leaf tea can be brewed 2-3 times; thus, reducing waste. And you can use the residue as manure for plants. Also, ChaiVeda is a carbon-neutral brand.
  • Keeping the Traditions Alive –
We are continuing the age-old tradition of using plant-based flavours. The ingredients of our chai contain Ayurvedic mixture used by ancestors to create home remedies.

OUR

India’s tea plantations date back to 1830s.

World’s finest tea is produced in our country due to the high altitude it is grown in which has plenty of moisture, is warm and fertile. This gives us a delicate and bright flavour in our tea cup.

Tea was traditionally produced and consumed in India as a medicine.

India, with a rich cultural and traditional heritage of herbs and spices and known as a nation where milk is in abundance “doodh ki nadiyan”, over a period of time, a delicious nourishing energising beverage with an amalgamation of all things nice was born. The most favourite `Masala Chai’

The `Vedic Masala Chai’, our speciality, is an amalgamation of 14 herbs, spices and flowers which has found its way in the chai world during the days of our great grandparents.

OUR

We sell what we consume at home. The moment you open your packet, a powerful aroma and fragrance of natural spices and herbs shall greet you.

The spices, herbs and other ingredients in our blends are all grown organically. These come from the local farmers, who take pride in their work and ensure quality. And our products are free from any artificial flavours.

OUR CHAI

Taking inspiration from the “dadi ma ka nuskha” - Vedic Chai Masala, we have created many other chai blends.

We are looking towards a better and healthier future, using traditional practices from the past. All our blends are fresh, natural and handmade. These are based upon the teachings of Ayurveda, and are as timeless as pearls.
